I have been working as a librarian in Hertfordshire Libraries for 15 years. For the past 10 years, I have been responsible for developing our information and online services. This includes (amongst other things) purchasing and managing reference stock and online resources, developing training for all staff and promoting our enquiry service. More recently, I have taken responsibility for our digital inclusion services and our CreatorSpace offer.

I am passionate about the information role that libraries have, particularly public libraries. I believe that the impact on life-essential matters (such as health, money, learning and work) of having access to reliable information makes libraries one of the greatest assets in any community.
