Karen Blakeman provides training and consultancy on the use of the Internet, and on accessing and managing electronic information resources to organisations in the private, publica and academic sectors. She is an Honorary Fellow of CILIP: The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, an active member of the UK e-Information Group (UKeiG), and a member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP). In 2002 she received the Information World Review Information Professional of the Year award.
