Brian received his M.L.I.S. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010, with an emphasis in Archives, Preservation and Records Management. He graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in English. Prior to joining the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Brian worked in the tech industry as a software tester and freelance copywriter. Upon joining the library faculty in 2012, he was the Web Design and Instruction Librarian. He transitioned to the role of Director of Library IT in 2014.
