Martin is a digital innovation consultant who has been working around the intersection of the Internet and academia for some thirty years, starting with the eLib programme of the 1990s. In a varied career he has worked as an Internet researcher (he's the person responsible for 'www.', but don't hold it against him), run a supercomputer centre and led the Innovation Lab at Jisc. These days Martin advises organisations on how best to get the most out of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.
