Riikka Utriainen is a Library Pedagogue at Espoo City Library, Finland, and the creator of Helmet Reading Challenge. During her short career Riikka has been lucky enough to try out many different parts of library work from cataloging to event organizing and book talks but has now focused mainly to library marketing and library presence in social media when not doing the grassroots customer service.
She is a devoted booklover who reads everything from high literature to the trashiest romance and suspense novels.
Riikka began working in Espoo City Library in 2013. She has a Bachelor’s degree in library and information services from Turku University of Applied Sciences. Espoo City Library is part of the Helmet (Helsinki Metropolitan Area Libraries) network that serves library uses living in and near the capital of Finland.
