A long way from her native California, Amy Andres now makes her home in Qatar where she serves as Director of Libraries for Virginia Commonwealth School of the Arts. She received a BA in art and design and an MA in art history from California State University, Fresno. She also has an MLS from University College London and an MSc in Business Research Methods from University of Reading. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Administration from the Henley School of Business. Amy enjoys the challenge of overseeing two libraries, an art and design library and a materials library. She spends a lot of her time wondering how to catalog fruit leather, fake fur, and ferrofluid.
