Adam’s background is in digital technologies and their application for education. He has worked from the University of Kent for over 15 years supporting the education community across the South East of England as part of the UK Jisc funded projects. He has been an eLearning Business Development Manager for one Further Education College, taught on Teacher Training courses and supported new library technology initiatives. Over this time, his interest in technology solutions for libraries has meant that he has presented at various international library conferences in Ireland, England, Norway and The Netherlands. He is extremely passionate about the value of technology to enhance all aspects of teaching and learning. Adam has advised on several steering groups and numerous national and international conferences. He has authored and peer reviewed a variety of JISC projects, international IT publications and software developments. He has several degrees in sciences and did doctoral studies in systems design thinking. He loves seeing people becoming enthusiastic about the use and real value of appropriate technologies. And he is very keen on organisational strategies that accommodate not just a change in technology skills, but perceptions and behaviour of both staff and students.
