Mary C. Schlembach earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993. She continued with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Library Automation from the University of Pittsburg in 1994. Returning to UIUC, she has been an engineering librarian and earned tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in 2002. Since that time, she has added astonomy, chemistry, geology and physics to the areas of instruction, reference, and collection development at Illinois.
