Alastair Boyd has served as Head of Cataloguing and Metadata Services at the University of Toronto's Robarts Library since 2007. For 10 years before that he was Music Cataloguing Supervisor for the same library, following a decade working as a music cataloguer both for the University of Toronto and for ISM. He holds M.Mus (1980) and M.L.S. (1992) degrees from the University of Toronto.
